چکیده

Abstract It is very challenging to fabricate spherical refractory material powders for additive manufacturing (AM) because of their high melting points and complex compositions. In this study, a novel technique, freeze-dry pulsated orifice ejection method (FD-POEM), was developed MoSiBTiC particles without process. Elemental nanopowders were dispersed in water prepare high-concentration slurry, which subsequently extruded from an by diaphragm vibration frozen instantly liquid nitrogen. After freeze-drying process, composite with arbitrary composition ratios obtained. The FD-POEM had narrow size range uniform elemental distribution. Mesh structures formed within the particles, attributed sublimation ice crystals. Furthermore, owing morphology, low avalanche angle 42.6°, exhibiting good flowability. Consequently, combination has great potential developing components used industrial applications.

Additive Manufacturing: A Novel Method for Fabricating Cobalt-Chromium Removable Partial Denture Frameworks.

Additive manufacturing (AM) often referred to as 3D printing (3DP) has shown promise of being significantly viable in the construction of cobalt-chromium removable partial denture (RPD) frameworks. The current paper seeks to discuss AM technologies (photopolymerization processes and selective laser melting) and review their scope. The review also discusses the clinical relevance of cobalt-chrom...

Fabricating Superior NiAl Bronze Components through Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing

Cast nickel aluminum bronze (NAB) alloy is widely used for large engineering components in marine applications due to its excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. Casting porosity, as well as coarse microstructure, however, are accompanied by a decrease in mechanical properties of cast NAB components. Although heat treatment, friction stir processing, and fusion welding were im...

A Novel Extrusion-based Additive Manufacturing Process for Ceramic Parts

An extrusion-based additive manufacturing process, called the Ceramic On-Demand Extrusion (CODE) process, for producing three-dimensional ceramic components with near theoretical density is introduced in this paper. In this process, an aqueous paste of ceramic particles with a very low binder content (<1 vol%) is extruded through a moving nozzle at room temperature. After a layer is deposited, ...

A Novel Slip Correction Factor for Spherical Aerosol Particles

A 3D simulation study for an incompressible slip flow around a spherical aerosol particle was performed. The full Navier-Stokes equations were solved and the velocity jump at the gas-particle interface was treated numerically by imposition of the slip boundary condition. Analytical solution to the Stokesian slip flow past a spherical particle was used as a benchmark for code verification, and e...
